I can’t share it all, now… I have a serious involvement problem with a community sports organization, “The Organization.” And I have lived in the ‘Burgh forever and I love every single part of it.

Here are many fun AND exciting facts about me….

1. I am busy. very, very busy
2. I am just about poor poor. very, very poor
3. I am not exactly as angry as everyone thinks I am… but I have fun letting people believe it
4. I am, however, probably as annoyed as everyone thinks I am…
5. I have ALWAYS wanted to speed skate
6. I climbed Mt. Washington. Twice when I was in high school. It’s the highest point in the Northeastern US. The first time to the Lake of the Clouds hut due to bad weather. The 2nd time, all the way to the top via the Boott Spur trail.
7. I am trying to figure out where I’m going with my life…
8. Captain Morgan loves me… so does Calico Jack…
9. I’ve sewn two baby quilts in 2009 and more bibs & burp cloths than I can count.
10. I am missing my cat
11. I wish I had room to build shit
12. I love music. ALL kinds of music
13. I’ve met Art Alexakis from Everclear, M. Doughty of Soul Coughing, Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope from Insane Clown Posse, and will.i.am, apl.de.ap & Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas in person
14. At least one of those meetings involved me wearing fancy, shiny silver pants
15. I am totally unable to shop for myself
16. I love flipflops, Crocs and New Balance running shoes
17. I am unable to exercise unless a certain sport’s ball is involved
18. I am totally ADD
19. I think I’m one of the most loyal people I know
20. I am a keeper of secrets and stories
21. I try to do as I say I will.
22. I read The Little Prince in French. I’ve never read it in English
23. I am plagued by Catholic guilt, even though I no longer go to church
24. One of my favorite things to do is get completely lost in a book
25. I can read your average mass market paperback in about 6 hours. And not remember 75% of it
26. I am a first generation American
27. I did not vote until I was in my mid-20’s – when my parents became citizens and were voting for the first time
28. I refuse to discuss politics with anyone, at any time
29. I am, by nature, a worrier, nervous and a total freak
30. My paternal grandfather died at the age of 98. And it was a huge, freaking surprise
31. I have an enormous Winnie the Pooh collection
32. Two of my male friends have offered to figure out how to bear my children. Scary.
33. I am an Aunt!! Little C was born on May 11, 2009. And she’s perfect!
34. I am now a member of the Polar Bear club. Stories here and here. And video is here.
35. I have seen Madonna and Britney Spears in concert. For free, with free food & booze.
36. I have played ALL 15 rugby positions in a competitive match of some kind – 7s, 10s or 15s.
37. I finally met Little C on June 10, 2009. And I immediately fell in LOVE. She is wonderful, beautiful, spectacular and the cutest baby burrito on the planet.
